The Challenge
TechMate needed a B2B SaaS platform for IT asset management — multi-tenant with organisation-level isolation, a tiered subscription model, a rich analytics dashboard, and an API for enterprise integrations. They had a Notion doc with requirements and a runway of 6 months. Nothing else.
Our Solution
Full-stack Next.js 14 platform with app router. PostgreSQL on Supabase with RLS for tenant isolation. Stripe Billing with three subscription tiers, metered usage billing, and a self-serve upgrade/downgrade flow. Recharts-powered analytics dashboard with drill-down capability. REST API with API key auth for enterprise integrations. Deployed on Vercel with staging and production environments.
The Outcome
Beta launched to 8 enterprise pilot customers on schedule. Zero data isolation incidents in 3 months of operation. 87.5% of pilot customers converted to paid plans. Passed SOC 2 Type I readiness assessment. TechMate secured $1.2M pre-seed funding citing the product demo as the decisive factor.
